This verse has nothing to do with the deity issue; however, I felt a comment must be made. Many misuse this verse by assuming the "law of liberty" means "liberty FROM the Law" - no Law (Torah)! This is a terribly incorrect and unholy assumption! These traditional opponents to God's instructions (Torah means "instructions" or "teachings") and promoters of lawlessness (iniquity - note comments for Matt. 7:21-23) jump to the completely unsupported conclusion that the "liberty" is a "liberty" from God's Eternal Torah. They openly preach a "license to sin", especially the sin-promoting, unknowing servants of wickedness - the Once-Saved-Always-Saved promoters. However, they forget a verse from Psalms 119 - the most pro-Torah Psalm and longest chapter in the entire Bible! I will quote the context from which the "liberty" can be proven to be resulting from keeping the Torah, NOT from abolishing it!
Psalm 119:44-48
44 So I will keep Thy law continually, Forever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Thy precepts.
46 I will also speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And shall not be ashamed.
47 And I shall delight in Thy commandments, Which I love.
48 And I shall lift up my hands to Thy commandments, Which I love; And I will meditate on Thy statutes.

Today's preachers and most Christians that often grossly misinterpret Paul's writings would say the Torah (Law) is "bondage". Strangely, these same Christian leaders seem blind to the many times Paul embraces and promotes Torah! They serve the Beast by intentionally practicing "selective" interpretation of Paul's writings and willfully ignoring the Hebraic context of ALL the Bible. Well, those that irreverently reject and teach against what God through his Tanakh (Older Testament) prophets called "perfect" and "complete" are in direct conflict with the verses above and God and are in danger of the wrath that may be inflicted upon them! Sadly, Christians seem to have no problem conflicting with God by rejecting the teachings (Torah) from what they blasphemously call the "Old" Testament. God does have a problem with it and will let the Torah haters know of it on judgement day.
I desperately pray those deceived by the doctrines of the Beast which has so many in his power will heed the cry of the angel in Revelations! Please return to God and leave the Beast's lair!
Revelation 18:4,5 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
